Serving Eastern Connecticut
Eastern Connecticut Home Inspection Services has been performing home inspections and related services throughout Eastern Connecticut since 2000.
The company is owned and operated by Charles Halbert. Mr. Halbert is a licensed home inspector in the State of Connecticut (License #HOI.254). Mr. Halbert is an American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Certified Home Inspector, and a member of the Connecticut Association of Home Inspectors (CAHI). ASHI is the oldest and most respected home inspector organization in the United States, and requires a minimum of 20 hours continuing education per year, double the amount required for home inspectors by the State of Connecticut.
Mr. Halbert is nationally certified for radon measurement by the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and is listed by the State of Connecticut as an approved radon measurement professional. A small number of Connecticut home inspectors carry this certification, which requires continuing education as well as a quality control program for radon measurement.
A Windham, CT resident for over 30 years, Mr. Halbert is active in the community. He is an active member of the Windham Business Network International and has been a guest speaker on a number of occasions at Quinebaug Valley Community College’s real estate course, providing instruction on home inspection related issues for new Realtors.
